Awards
Founders' Award
Formerly known as the Justice Alice Robie Resnick Award of Distinction, this award was initially established in 1998 as OWBA's highest award for professional excellence. It has been expanded and renamed in February 2007 as OWBA's Founders' Award, and is presented to an outstanding OWBA member who has contributed to the OWBA and the legal profession, has rendered services to improve the administration of justice, and has helped pave the way to success for women in the legal profession. In addition, we acknowledge her willingness to give back to the legal community, as well as the general public, while demonstrating professional excellence.

Family Friendly Award Recipients:
OWBA is at the forefront of a profession-wide effort to promote meaningful alternative work arrangements in both private and public practice. Established in 2003, the Family Friendly Award honors those legal employers in Ohio who best exemplilfies the commitment to work-life balance arrangements, and assures that lawyers can take care of their families and still pursue a successful career.
