This two-hour seminar will provide an overview of the two primary negotiation strategies and how to blend these strate- gies to yield the best results in the real world. From their more than combined 75 years of experience, three presenters, a corporate transactional attorney, a litigator and a mediator, will discuss negotiation skills and strategies from their varied legal experiences and backgrounds. Following the presentations, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in the roundtable discussion with the presenters.

Susan is experienced in all areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and securities law, particularly as it pertains to all types of financial institutions. She has been involved with organizing denovo institutions, bank restructuring, capital formation, the purchase and sale of holding companies and banks and all aspects of regulatory compliance, as well as, these activities for other types of businesses, including hospitals, manufacturing and service companies.
is an active member of the Porter Wright’s Product Liability and Toxic Tort practice group. A significant portion of her practice involves defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in complex product liability and mass tort litigation. She has also litigated claims involving antide- pressants, vaccines, breast implants, spinal instrumentation, latex gloves, surgical clips and needle products, among others. She has extensive toxic tort experience and currently represents a domestic subsidiary of an international food company against claims that allege its product was responsible for workplace injuries. She also has experience in the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice litigation.
