Course description
This two-hour seminar will provide an overview of the two primary negotiation strategies and how to blend these strategies to yield the best results in the real world. From their more than combined 75 years of experience, three presenters, a corporate transactional attorney, a federal mediator and a mediation attorney, will discuss negotiation skills and strategies from their varied legal experiences and backgrounds. Following the presentations, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in the roundtable discussion with the presenters.

Speakers
Susan Zaunbrecher is chair of the Corporate Department and chair of the Corporate/SEC and Financial Institutions Practice Groups at Dinsmore & Shohl. Susan is a member of the firm's Board of Directors. Susan is experienced in all areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and securities law, particularly as it pertains to all types of financial institutions. She has been involved with organizing denovo institutions, bank restructuring, capital formation, the purchase and sale of holding companies and banks and all aspects of regulatory compliance, as well as, these activities for other types of businesses, including hospitals, manufacturing and service companies.

Robert Kaiser has been the District Mediator for the Southern District of Ohio since the position was created in August 2007. He began mediating cases in 1999, when he became affiliated with The Center for Resolution of Disputes in Cincinnati. He has mediated over 500 dis- putes covering a wide variety of subject areas, including employment discrimination, commercial and contract issues, intellectual property and patents, ERISA, civil rights, and torts. In addition, he has provided training in mediation and collaborative law, and has facilitated negotiations of labor agreements and public policy matters.

Hans Scherner practices in the areas of civil trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts, medical malpractice and other professional liability, personal injury, product liability, and other civil litigation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (1997), and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America since 1989; Central Ohio Best Lawyer of the Year in 2009: Per- sonal Injury Litigation; and Professionalism Award, Columbus Bar Association, 2003.
