Sisters in Law: How Sandra Day O'Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg Went to the Supreme Court and Changed the World by Linda Hirshman | Virtual Meetings on Oct. 15, Nov. 5, and Dec. 10 from 7:30p-8:30p

In the wake of Justice Ginsburg’s death, coupled with Justice O’Connor stepping away from public life announcing her diagnosis with dementia and likely Alzheimer’s, it is especially timely and important for women lawyers to reflect on the careers of the first two women on the Supreme Court: how far they and women have come over the span of their careers, how it has impacted each of us in our careers, and how much further women have to go in the legal profession.

Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed by Lori Gottlieb | Virtual Meetings on Oct. 29, Nov. 19, and Dec. 17 from 7:30p-8:30p

There has been a growing awareness in the profession of the importance of lawyers taking care of their physical and mental health to their effective practice of law while also balancing family responsibilities. The challenges of working in a post-COVID-19 era has only heightened the importance of having open, honest conversations about the impact these circumstances are having on  women lawyers’ wellness, and the courage to have those conversations for yourself, for the sake of your family, and professional colleagues.
