Summary: Document Specialists serve clients by providing administrative and secretarial support to attorneys. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Summary: Legal Assistants serve clients by providing administrative and secretarial support to attorneys and paralegals. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. Legal Assistants routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some movement around the office is required. For example, Legal Assistants must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with specific hours to be scheduled by supervisors. Overtime on occasions
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience: Legal Assistants must have high school diplomas and five years or more of legal administrative experience in the area of litigation and probate specific litigation experience is a plus.
