On May 19, 2021, OWBA and OWBF held a private virtual swearing in ceremony for several newly elected leaders of the organizations who where unable to attend the recent OWBA-OWBF Annual Meeting & Conference. OWBA President Erin Rhinehart welcomed the group, recapped a successful annual event and shared how wonderful it was seeing members and friends for the first time in more than a year. Rhinehart then introduced Magistrate Judge Stephanie Bowman, past president of the OWBA to conduct the ceremony. OWBF President Amy Ahn-Roll who missed the in-person event due to an incident that shut down the highway just prior to the event, was sworn in and recognized. "My goal is to lead with empathy, agility and grit," said Ahn-Roll. It is obvious both organizations will continue to have strong leadership in 2021-2022. The organizations look forward to the changes we will see going forward as the world slowly re-opens following the pandemic. Both Boards are committed to collaboratively working towards their missions to promote the leadership, advancement and interests of women attorneys through professional education, networking and the exchange of ideas between our members, supporters, local bar associations, business and the community.
