Judge Jeffrey J. Helmick of the Northern District of Ohio is currently accepting applications for a term law clerk position to begin in May 2021.  The position is for a period of 16 months, but may be extended for an additional one-year period. 

Prior judicial experience is strongly preferred, but not required.  Some post-law school legal experience is required.  Applicants must have taken a state bar examination prior to the beginning of the clerkship term.  Additional preferred qualifications include: class standing in the top 33%; law review or other journal experience; and/or moot court experience.
